SDBA Foundation

Established in 1982, the South Dakota Bankers Foundation has provided support for various programs designed to fulfill the current mission statement:

Developing South Dakota Banking Industry Professionals.

Past programming includes the high school Business Plan Competition; high school and post-secondary scholarships in South Dakota; the Personal Economic Program (PEP) which provided financial literacy materials for k-12 students; high school educational seminars; and the Community Service Awards program.

The Foundation also provides financial support for a Chair in Banking at the University of South Dakota School of Business in Vermillion.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of member bankers, the Dean of the USD School of Business, the President of the SD Bankers Association and members at large.

Contributions to the Foundation are fully tax deductible.
