Troubled Loan Simulation Course

Sponsored by the North Dakota Bankers Association

October 15, 20 & 22, 2020

3-Part Virtual Series

About the Program

What do you do when your borrower can no longer meet (or refuses to meet) the obligations of the loan? Restructure? Take the collateral? Sue?

Organized by the financial institutions practice group of Zimney Foster P.C., this three‐part virtual series will provide you with a simulated loan file containing common problems seen by attorneys when reviewing authentic loan files. The virtual sessions will be recorded and available for 30 days after the live sessions.

Note: Each participant will receive a complete and comprehensive simulated troubled loan file.

Registration Fees

Members: $175 per person
Non-Member: $255 per person

About the Speaker

Tracy Kennedy, an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in loan documentation and troubled loan recovery, will walk you through the steps of responding to the troubled loan from start to finish, discussing alternative options and resolutions along the way.

Tracy will further discuss the practical issues that arise when recovering the debt, including the sale of collateral, application of proceeds to the debt, and the foreclosure of real estate.

After the course, you will have a broader understanding of the possibilities for dealing with a troubled loan and be more assured when one falls into your hands.

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is designed for loan officers, loan review officers, internal auditors, documentation specialists and bank counsel.
