1-1:45 p.m. - In Pursuit of Greatness, Dr. Jennifer M. Reecy, Chief Employee Experience Officer, The First National Bank in Sioux Falls | Sioux Falls, S.D. - It is time for a grand revolution in your pursuit of leadership greatness! Together, let’s do something unheard of – we are going to challenge your belief systems and hack the principles of leadership to pull the future forward – for yourself, your teams, and your organizations! Leaders – You must be committed to the pursuit of being better leaders. You must take extreme ownership of your pursuit. The question to ask is, “What do I have to become today, in order to be who I want to be tomorrow?” It is imperative you define yourself on both an aspirational and practical level as a leader in order to lead well. Leadership isn’t just a role or a title – it’s a choice. The best leaders choose to be better, they choose to be different – they choose to lead deliberately.

1:45-2:05 p.m. - #Fraud. It’s Trending., Kaitlyn Telkamp, FRAML (Fraud + Anti-Money Laundering) Analyst, First Bank & Trust | Brookings, S.D. - Whether it is a fraud related topic in your streaming service’s “Watch Next” list, a threatening voicemail from  the “IRS,” or a  customer who says they mailed $5,000.00 to their “girlfriend” overseas– fraud is a trend that  is not going out of style.  Fraud and its bad actors are evolving opportunists exploiting new technologies,  products, and world events. This session will discuss current fraud trends, share case stories, and highlight best practices in identifying fraud schemes now and in the future of fraud.

2:05-2:30 p.m. - Networking Break

2:30-3:15 p.m. - Reducing Cybersecurity Risk Through Proactive Dark Web Monitoring, Dr. Ashley Podhradsky, VP of Research & Economic Development, Dakota State University | Madison, S.D. and Katie Shuck, Lead Cyber Intelligence Analyst, S.D. Fusion Center | Sioux Falls, S.D. - Dr. Ashley Podhradsky and Dr. Katie Shuck will discuss cyber threat trends, mitigation activities, and resources available for financial institutions in South Dakota.  They will bring in real examples to show how risk is not fully mitigated with current industry best practices.  This session will demonstrate how everyone from a teller, bank president, and board member can help improve the cyber security posture  at a bank.

3:15-4:00 p.m. - Leading Imperfectly: The Value of Being Authentic for Leaders, Professionals, and Human Beings, James Robilotta, Professional Speaker, @jamestrobo - Hey Superwoman, take off your cape. Hey Batman, take off your mask. Hey decision-makers, put away your ego. Let’s talk about who you are personally as a leader and as a partner. As humans, we can’t learn things from people who are perfect, we can only learn things from people who are imperfect. So, it is time to own who you are so you can be real to others and lead through your faults. This deep but hysterical session will leave you feeling introspective about the person you show to others and recognize the rapport and trust-building power of authenticity in your communication and relationships. If you’re looking to master the art of courageous feedback and authentic relationship building, this is the session for you.

4:00 p.m. - Door Prizes/Wrap Up/Adjourn

Sleep in Heavenly Peace

www.shpbeds.org | 844.432.2337

All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Across the U.S., too many children go without a bed - or even a pillow - to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health.

That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. SHP is a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.

Join us this year as we help support Sleep in Heavenly Peace by bringing a donation of twin sized sheets, comforters, blankets and pillows (cash donations are also appreciated!) Let’s make sure these children can sleep in heavenly peace!
